A leading product start-up in the bay area is looking for a Analyst. The candidate would be responsible for enhancing the existing process and boosting the output

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Policy Deployment / Hardening
• Rigorous Change Management with respect changes to App
• Support all MFS Functions for Project & Operations
• Incident/Issue/Problem management with adequate sense of ownership
• Update Patch on application as may be required from time to time
• Password Policy Enforcement & Server and Database hardening
• Application of Security patches for DB and other Applications
• Rigorous Change Management with respect changes to DB
• Write technical documentation

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Ability to think clearly, identify risks, anticipate eventualities and resolve problems under pressure
• Ability to understand and comply with business processes and procedures
• Ability to interact with users / partners / vendors / sub-contractors effectively
• Ability to understand and comply with methods, standards, guidelines, tools, techniques and procedures
• We’re looking for someone with 5-8 years of experience in similar systems, has a Bachelors in Engineering or Master’s in Computer Science or another quantitative field, and is familiar with the following software:
  • SQL Management Studio, OEM Grid.
